This book is absolute gold for operators. By Taiichi Ohni, the father of the Toyota Production System. Yes—it’s about Toyota (and thus, manufacturing). But I challenge you to develop the eyes to see the principles and practices and apply them to any industry of business.
2 Second Lean is the “intro to lean” book I recommend for eager students. Paul provides most, if not all, of his material for free. I highly recommend checking all of it out.
